Recruiting is of critical importance for every research study. A study’s success begins with recruiting the best, most articulate consumers. All P&K clients work with their client service representative with regard to all aspects of study set up, including recruiting specifications. They schedule the test date and provide detailed instructions to P&K’s Lab and Recruiting departments.
Each respondent’s (“tester’s”) opinion carries a lot of weight -- they represent the opinions of hundreds or thousands of people just like them. We scientifically control conditions as much as possible (to minimize the number of variables at play) by choosing only those participants who truly represent the target population and rejecting those who do not. We use scripts to screen each and every respondent in the exactly the same way to eliminate as many variables as possible from testing before the evaluation begins. We know how to spot casual attitudes and fraudulent responses – and how to kindly reject the respondents who try to use them. Teamwork, skill and attention to detail are the key to getting studies recruited on time and with accuracy.
Our testers are P&K “customers”. Even though they are paid for their participation, many of them feel that they are contributing to the process of bringing winning products to market. To assure adherence to recruiting criteria and to insure the highest quality individual is selected to participate,every call is recorded to monitor performance and to validate and verify respondent claims.
